What do young people think of AI? Does this so-called silent generation, immersed in new technologies from morning to night, have its own vision of AI? What actions are they proposing for AI? Are they as worried as previous generations, or do they see AI as an opportunity to transform our world for the better?
The presence of Chinese students in Paris during the Summit is also an opportunity to hear the voice of Chinese youth, in a sector where China is a leader.
Under the direction of Emmanuel Desfourneaux, who initiated the event, and under the coaching of Karen de Sousa Pesse, 97 students divided into 4 groups will have 2 weeks to reflect on themes linked to the Paris Summit.
On February 11, 2025, at the Cité Internatioanle in Paris, the students will share their actions. We encourage them to work in innovative ways. The international community, especially in 2024, has produced numerous conventions on AI. There is already a broad consensus on ethics and other issues. So we need to avoid repetition. We need to develop a refreshing and innovative vision of AI that is driven by young people.
