The main content of this internship can be summarized as learning basic knowledge of international law and applying international law to solve problems in the international society. Since there are many students who are not majoring in law in our internship group, the initial stage of our internship is actually a preliminary study of international law. Our supervisor, Mr. E, led us to learn the most basic theoretical knowledge of international law and get to know famous jurists and Share hot issues of international law occurring internationally.
In the middle and late stages of the internship, we entered the stage of knowledge application. We used knowledge related to international law to solve problems in the international society. At the beginning, I was always worried that my knowledge base would not be enough, but Mr. E always encouraged us and told us that international law is not limited to law. It requires knowledge in all aspects. If we can grasp the spirit and basic principles, we can solve the problem. question. In the following internship, we found that this was indeed the case. At this stage, our internship content is very rich. Mr. E invited us to the weekly meetings with big names in various fields of the international community, giving us the opportunity to get to know elites from all walks of life.
During the entire internship process, the time to learn professional knowledge is very limited, but for me, the most important change is the expansion of my horizons and the acquisition of learning methods. Because during this internship with an international organization, I was able to personally experience hot events happening in the international community and hear the voices of jurists who are active in the international community, which I cannot experience on campus.
In addition, during the internship process, Mr. E paid great attention to exploring the exploratory abilities of the interns and often asked us to solve a problem. In this process, my ability to find information and solve problems has been greatly improved.
This internship gave me a general understanding of the daily work of international organizations. By getting along with colleagues in international organizations, I also deeply felt their tolerance for multiculturalism. If I have the opportunity to work in an international organization in the future, I think this internship experience will definitely contribute.
