Talent Development Academy for International Organisations (TDAIO)
Making international society accessible to all
TDAIO Makes International Organizations Accessible to All Students
The Academy was set up by members of international civil society.
Observation 1 : TDAIO observed that internships or even access to jobs in international organizations are very difficult.
Observation 2 : Many of our partner universities are looking for an international program that complements their teaching and is more practically oriented.
In view of these two observations, TDAIO offers original programs with the participation of leading professionals from international organizations : a lecture by a Council of Europe official (Strasbourg-France), an exchange between students and a UNESCO official (Paris-France), and participation in a European Union workshop (Brussels-Belgium).
TDAIO goes even further by enabling students to become real players in the international community in the context of the United Nations’ sustainable development objectives.
TDAIO Develops Talent in Young Students
There are no age or degree requirements to take part in the TDAIO program. You just need to be enrolled at a university.
TDAIO provides all the practical skills needed to work with international organizations. Its academic offer is hybrid: training and internship.
TDAIO focuses on commitment (motivation) and the meaning given to missions within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals: gender equality, ecology, education, civilizational dialogue, etc.
These are the conditions under which TDAIO students will become leaders.
TDAIO Optimizes Talent
Workshops are held in places of excellence: Foundation René Cassin (Strasbourg), Université Libre de Bruxelles, Sorbonne Paris, etc.
TDAIO organizes its own international meetings and conferences with students as interviewers or actors.
Conferences organised by TDAIO are held in symbolic locations: Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, UNESCO, etc.
On 9 August 2024, TDAIO organized a mock conference. At the end, 136 students adopted a draft convention on the international status of NGOs. This draft was presented at the United Nations Summit for the Future in New York.
